About

“My father literally fought his entire life to ensure the inclusion of all people because he understood that we were intertwined and connected together in humanity.” — Bernice King

Having grown up near Ferguson, MO, I know what it means to live in a community that doesn’t see you. Diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies create opportunities for people of color to participate in the decision-making process. Everyone deserves a seat at the table.

Teaching acting and directing in the Cinema and Television Arts department at Columbia College for so many years is a gift I treasure every day. Games and improvs give students the freedom to live in the moment and speak their truth. What an honor to share in this growth.

I help organizations develop authentic communication among team members on a visceral level. Having taught in a college setting for over twenty years, I successfully use acting exercises to nurture honesty, build inclusion, and foster a sense of belonging in a diverse group year after year.

I’m an advocate for Corporate Racial Equity Responsibility (CRER) to hold organizations accountable for their commitment to career advancement of Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) employees.

Bursting with Purple Pride, I enjoy fighting the good fight for inclusion at Northwestern University. As a Black alumna, I will add my voice to the discussion for diverse decision-making at every level.
